Career Exploration. Career Services staff within the Mays Center prepare students for real life objectives and expectations regarding careers and employment through the use of innovative research and learning techniques. We provide quality counseling in the areas of choosing a major, job search strategies, pursuing employment and graduate school opportunities. We offer many resources to both.
A Career Fair is an event where recruiters and students can meet to discuss potential internship or career opportunities. During a Career Fair (traditionally) recruiters will stand at booths and students will walk around the event, stopping at booths to introduce themselves to the recruiter and give their resume. At the University of Houston, there are multiple Career Fairs per semester.
Career Fair Employer Information. Registrations can be paid by check (payable to The University of Texas at Austin), Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. Please note, UT Austin does not accept American Express. You will receive a confirmation email with your Invoice with detailed payment instructions once your registration is approved. Credit Card Payments can be processed by calling the CCS.

The event is a collaborative effort between Engineering Career Assistance Center, Natural Sciences Career Services, Biomedical Engineering Society-Student Chapter, and Natural Sciences Council.

The Career Fair is designed to provide potential employers with an opportunity to meet students and conduct formal interviews for the purpose of hiring both interns and full time employees. In addition, it provides an opportunity for students to learn about employment prospects in the construction industry.
